using The Events Calendar with pro

Recommended Posts

i would like to use the wordpress plugin "The Events Calendar" with my pro theme. i basically just want a 'page' with the plugin as the information when that link is clicked. how can i accomplish this with pro? do i need to set a 'custom page' in the 'template setup' section or something and drag it into there?

ok i figured out to add the event via 'menu' option however once i did this the 'about' page was removed from the menu. do i just create a new menu for 'about' instead now?

Yes, in Appearance > Menus you'll need to create your whole new menu with all the items you want. Thanks, Bryan

I would like to use the events calendar plugin on my pro theme, as well. I installed and activated it, but I can't find the calendar on the post editor. How exactly did you figure out your problem? Maybe this might shed some light on my problem.

Haven't used this plugin but i can take a guess the its creating posts for the events. So if you can create an event, and find out the url to that event, you can add it to the menu in Appearance -> Menus by making a custom menu item.

The pro version 'Events Calendar Pro Version 1.3.1' doesn't play well with Pagelines Platform Pro. All Pagelines panels end up with bloated ultra-bold text. I took a clean install of the current wordpress, a clean unmodified Platform Pro, and a brand new Events Calendar Pro. Pagelines is really messed up.

Messed up how? I'm assuming the menus in PL are wonky but they still actually work? Many many plugins neglect to enqueue their stylesheets so that they only affect their respective admin panels.
