bbpress installer does not activate...

I want install bbpress forum on my platformpro site and I have uploaded the bbpress file and changed the file name to forum and when i go to the page as directed http://www.mysite.com/forum i get a bbforum login page that says "page not found" Can anyone help? Tony

Technically it's already installed. The install wizard is prior to what you would see at this page. It's probably just a 404 because there is no forum thread that's been created yet or can you not login? Maybe I just don't understand.

Okay, let me repeat as per the video in http://www.pagelines.com/docs - bbpress install... I have uploaded the bbpress file to my site, then I changed the name of the file to forum, the next step is that access that file via the url http://www.mysite.com/forum and that should trigger the bbpress install wizard...which it does not all I get is the page that you see currently. Can anyone help me here? Tony

Tony I believe it should be http://www.mysite.com/forum/bb-admin/install.php I hope this helps. John
