Positioning box sets

Recommended Posts

studentkrubb

Hi, I'm, trying to align a box set to the middle of my page-canvas. How would I normally do that? Live link: http://nysida.studentkrubb.se (Bottom box-set) Thanks in advance!

For anyone else trying to achieve this, the coding below did it:

.dcol_container_5 {
	float: center;
	width: 980px;
	}

It seems only to be working in google chrome, not mozilla. Ideas? Thanks!

I didn't know `float:center` existed? You might try: ` .dcol_container_5 { margin: 0 auto 0 auto; text-align: center; float: center; width: 980px; } ` Thanks, Bryan

I'm not sure it does. Although somehow it overwrites

float:right
in every browser but mozilla in which the basic coding persists.
.dcol_container_5 {
	    float: right;
	    width: 980px;
	}
Have tried clearing
clear:left
clear:both

but without success. Any ideas on how I can get it to overwrite the current line? Thanks!

You would want `float:none` instead. Thanks, Bryan
