Link I have the primary nav look in place. Need: Dropdown to be a semi-transparent color and.. when you actually go onto a page in the dropdown.. I need the nav bar to be the same as on the primary links

Add this CSS code to base.css:

ul.sub-menu {opacity:0.4;filter:alpha(opacity=40);}

Let me know if you need help with adjusting the transparency of it.

Link That worked nicely.... changed up some of the opacity. to 80 now... I added the link above to show you that the colors that are on the selected pages under the drop menu... the color areas also need changing... and not sure where they are?

Alisa, have you got Firebug to help you target those elements?

Truthful...I'm a bit challenged when it comes to the sub nav areas... I can muster the primary nav color changes... but cannot get those other elements targeted...

Here is the CSS you need to add to change the "selected link" color:

#primary-nav .main-nav .current_page_item a {
	    background-color: #YOURCOLORHERE;

Change the color to the one you desire.

@Catrina Here is what I am trying to target: LINK Notice the nav color is grey.... and when you hover the grey color that shows up not on the current page... trying to have this submenu similiar to the primary... active colors are brown/ hover and current page orange not grey. does this make sense?

I see what you mean now. Add this:

.main-nav li.current-page-ancestor a, .main-nav li.current_page_item a, .main-nav li.current-page-ancestor ul a, .main-nav li.current_page_item ul a {background-color: #COLOR;}
