britten_uk 0 Report post Posted March 11, 2011 Having just purchased the dev version of platform pro I have run into a problem. Base uploaded and unpacked perfectly via the Wordpress dashboard. The 'platformpro_dev' file however kept hanging saying 'unpacking file' and nothing more so I unzipped it manually into the wordpress themes folder. All seemed well and both base and platformpro appeared available for activation in the dashboard. Trying to activate, or preview, though brings this message "Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STATIC, expecting T_OLD_FUNCTION or T_FUNCTION or T_VAR or '}' in /homepages/45/d85975735/htdocs/matthewsgettingmarried/wp-content/themes/platformpro/sections/nav/section.nav.php on line 13" The file in question was written by Adam Munns according to Dreamweaver but I'm afraid thats where my ability to sort it stops - help desperately needed now! britten_uk 0 Report post Posted March 11, 2011 I found a relevant query with a bit more searching and after googling round half the tech support sites on teh interweb I have changed .htaccess file to allow php5 on my server.
