WH demo blog page

Can you tell me how I can display my blog pages like the WH demo http://www.pagelines.com/demos/whitehousepro/blog I made my landing page the "feature page" and now I'd like to establish a blog page like yours but "default" isn't doing it. I really want to have two different blog pages that pull blog entries based on some parameter like category or something similiar. Assistance requested! Thanks.

Sure can you tell us what's different about your blog page versus the demo's?

Firstly, the blog entries aren't appearing on the pages that I want them to appear and I can't figure out how to get entries on the given page. Secondly, the demo has summaries of the blog posts and I want to be able to have summaries of the blog posts for a user to click through if desired.

Are you using the WP option for setting your 'blog' page under 'settings' > 'reading'?

Secondly, the demo has summaries of the blog posts and I want to be able to have summaries of the blog posts for a user to click through if desired. 

In the options have you made sure to check the excerpts option you want?

Awesome. Thanks. Out of curiosity-- is there anyway to set-up two different blog pages whose contents differ by some selected value?
