remove site name in simple footer

Recommended Posts

Hi; I've searched and i can't find an answer to this. As i have reset my set, i found that the simple footer has not only the footer nav from wp menus, but also the site name in large characters. Please tell me what to do to remove this. www.buddhistwhatson.com Happy666 thank you Thanks

Hi Rodney, You should be able to rearrange and change what appears here using "Appearance->Widgets".

Hi; Do you mean in the footer Sidebars (5 col)? that is empty. Is there something else i should be looking for? On the same line as the site name we don't want, is the simple footer nav bar and the copyright item. I just dont know how that got in there. Please help. Thanks

hi i just noticed, if i go into pagelines settings, and footer, and add a logo to the footer, that text dissapears and the logo appears. But previously that field was empty, but there was still a site name which was a link, What if i want nothing, no text link or image? thank you

Yes, its a default if there is nothing set there. As Brian said, using CSS to hide would be easiest.
