Changing name Feature 1, and Feature 2, etc. to something else in PlatFormPro

Recommended Posts

Hi, I have been looking for the settings in PlatformPro to change the name Feature 1, Feature 2, and etc. to something I want to. But I can not find it out, where to do that. I am showing the PageLines Features on my website, but they show Feature 1 for example when I move over the button with my mouse. Please let me know, what can I do.

Right there when editing each slide scroll down and you'll find the option for a custom name. Thanks, Bryan

Bryan, I did it but it is not working. I found two boxes to write names: one is "Link Text" and the second one is "Navigation Label". I changed both of them, but it still shows feature 1 on the feature navigation when I move courser over it. :-(

There is no setting for changing that text at the moment. That "Navigation Label" is for re-naming the text that goes into the thumbnail when "Feature Names" mode is selected in the Feature Settings. Are you up for some customization?

Catrina, I love to do some customization when I know what to do. Could you help me to change that? Amir

Catrina, I just have realized that the features on my About page are showing right, but they don't show right on home page. Here is the url to my about page: http://packerlandcomputers.com/about-pc/ Do you have any idea, why it shows different in two different pages, even they are they same features? Thank you Catrina

With the latest version of Platform I believe the title tags for the nav links are taken out anyway. You can replace inline title tags by putting some jQuery in your Custom Code ->Footerscripts area: Try this: jQuery('#featurenav a[title="feature 1"]').attr('title','YOURTITLE');

Jimmy, I tried it and it did not work. I am sure you have some other solutions. Thank you very much.

If your home page is your blog page then we are aware of this. The recent version should have/will be fixing these issues of the feature-nav on the blog page.
