Sidebars for only a specific template?

I've made a homepage template and would like to make two sidebars that only appear on that template. How would I go about doing this? Thanks.

Hi Robin - You would simply register two new sidebars and call them from the new template.

Ok. I thought I might try making them into sections that can only be dragged out for the homepage template. This works great but I'd like there size and position to be effected by the page layout selected be the user. Is there any way to do this?

Yes, actually... Check the source code once a page is generated. There are specific classes assigned to one sidebar pages, etc.
