How to integrate a Pagelines banner inside the branding section?

Hi, I'd like to place a PLines banner next to the site branding image. (inside the site branding area). I first tried to simply add the banner section above the branding section and modifify the banner section's CSS (position: relative;) to place the banner where I wanted. But it doesn't work since I cannot remove/reduce the space of the div.content (banner section) above the branding. Would it be then a beter solution to add a hook with this custom code "pagelines_inside_top_branding" ? But I don't know how to write this function? Someone could help me? Thanks Ben
