Lining up Boxes with images

Recommended Posts

I am trying to line up a series of boxes on a page with or 4 across. I see where I can define the height of the pixels of the image. Is this the only way I can control lining up the "headlines" of the boxes? It does not seem to work and does not seem to be the cleanest way to control the alignment. In other words ... If I remove all images the boxes line up. If I load images the boxes don't line up. I want to be able to be able to: 1. specify the image height 2. line up the boxes Maybe I am missing something simple here but it seems like I don't understand how this has been set up and exactly what control I have and do not have. If I load images all with a controlled height then this might work out. Do I need to modify each image height and then import them and then define the image height in pixel to control the alignment "headlines"? thanks

The height of each image that is uploaded doesn't affect the alignment of the headlines. The headlines will remain lined up regardless. If you upload an image with a large height, the bottom part of the image will be cut off.

You need to specify the height and width of the icons for the particular page that you have these boxes located. OTherwise they will not resize automatically.

Adam, So what you are saying is that there are 2 steps to lining up boxes? Step 1: define the pixel height in boxes Step 2: make the height of all images the same in that row

Your images are all 150px wide. What I mean is the icon size set in the page meta options is going to be square so if unless all your images are 150 x 150 it's going to display them at the max-height as it reaches 150px wide. make sense?
