Adding a sidebar beside the Feature

I've just upgraded to PlatformPro 1.3 and would like to add a box to the right of my feature on the homepage. I've seen a couple posts mentioning this but can't find the exact directions on how to do that. I'm still learning my way around PlatforPro--not sure what I would need to set up. When I add sidebars to the Feature page template they all show up below the Feature and not to the side. Or do I need to size the Feature somehow. Any specific guidance would be much appreciated!

The templates for the feature and the sidebar would need more in-depth customization. Would you prefer to do this yourself or have a professional do it for you?

Good to know that it's not something I've missed in the settings. I'd like to try it myself. Could you point me towards the file I would need to edit?

Ideally you would create a whole new child section using the main section.features.php file as a starting point. The main thing you would have to change is the id so that it doesn't conflict with the original. Also look at the other child "sections" like pullquotes as a reference.
