Hi, couldn't find anything related to this. Platform pro. We just want to remove the morefoot area on the category sections. It's not selected in our overall layout, and we've disabled it on pages, but it insists on showing up on the categories, and respective posts therein. Here's a clip of an example. This is the url if you click on "Cancer Support" for the category selection. Notice it show's the morefoot area here, but not anywhere else, we can't figure out why. Any suggestions how to remove this? We're almost done! Thank you!

The Morefoot area is simply a container built into the core of the theme for holding layout section modules. As far as I am aware, for that reason, you are not able to turn off the entire container selectively, only individual section modules. Some of these section modules like the Twitter bar do have advanced options to globally hide them on post pages but unfortunately this is limited to only certain section modules. Advanced options can be accessed through the template setup tab in the main settings when you drag in a section module. Just click on the text that says advanced options. One thing to note is that if you are hiding Morefoot sections on the individual post pages you must select all the sections you want to hide and will have to do this on every post page or they will continue show up on those pages. This may not be the answer you were looking for but hope it helps nonetheless.

You could go into Pagelines Settings -> Template Setup, choose the Morefoot Area, and either remove everything that is in there or check the box in each section to hide by default (which would allow you to turn them on on a particular page). That's what I did for my wife's site and the Morefoot boxes don't show up on the category pages (look at the Announcements or Spelling links to see).

Ok so if we understand correctly, we would need to drag in the module, and make it active, and THEN pick the advanced options to deactivate it for the categories, etc? That's the part that throws us. It's not dragged over as an active part of the template, but it shows up on all the posts. That will fix it? This is pretty much all we've got left to do for the big stuff except redo the pictures... We'll try it. thank you.

Hey Jeffrey - You're sure it's not pulled over in "Site Footer", or "Posts Pages"?

Hi, Yep, we checked it. The only way we could get them to go away was to pick "hide by default" after we selected "morefoot area" in the template setup. Nothing else works. :(
