removing underline on links (for authour, comments etc) in the metabar

In the metabar class of a post (where author, date, comments etc are listed) there an underline on the links that i want to remove change or otherwise effect. in firebug i have confirmed this is a bottom border on the element rather than a text underline. despite this ive been unable to find the correct css class (or set of classes) to remove it in the child theme. Can anyone help? is there an easy way in firebug to find what parts of css you need? whenever i select an element theres an enormous list of css. (see http://www.test.macgazette.net/) thanks

Try and keep it simple ;) `.metabar a { border-bottom: none; }`

Thanks! That removes the border. but i cant change the font color, atm i have

.metabar a {
	border-bottom: none;
	color:#000;
	}
	.metabar a:hover {
	text-decoration: underline;
	color:#3577af;
	}

the underline works fine but color dosn't.

Just be more specific with your CSS selector or if you get desperate just add `!important` before the semi-colon for the color rule.
