ehsanmomeni 0 Report post Posted March 3, 2011 First of all, at the top of my blog (www.momeni.se) is a strange arrow (-->) how do I get rid of it? Secondly, how hard is it to make a proper updating tool for PageLine, everytime I wanna update, I have to uninstall, and all my settings get messed up. cmunns 16 Report post Posted March 3, 2011 Why do you uninstall? If you make your changes to PlatformBase then theoretically you just need to overwrite your old theme...I usually use an FTP client to sync the new changes. The arrow is probably leftover from some code, likely a plugin you have installed

bryan-hadaway 3 Report post Posted March 4, 2011 Hi Ehsan, We understand your frustration, it's natural. I edited out the language, please don't use obscenities in the forum. So you're saying a "Google" plugin left the code? What plugins are you using? Perhaps I can recommend better ones. Upgrading is always a process no matter what. We've created PlatformBase for this very purpose, are you using the base? I see your menu is now fixed, or maybe it's browser specific issue. That one is new to me... never seen that problem before. It's very important to check your work for markup errors: HTML: http://validator.w3.org/ CSS: http://jigsaw.w3.org/css-validator/ Thanks, Bryan
