Custom URL @ Custom Header image

Recommended Posts

Hi there. I'm upgraded to PlatformPro 1.3.1 in a networked environment. The site is under the main site and I need the custom Logo pointing out to the same (href) for both domains (main). As I see, it points to the blog and there is no field to fill with the desired url. Would it be possible to have it as an option at the Custom Header section @Global Options? If not would you mind providing the spot requiring coding? Thanks Max. BTW: It could be an option by now, considering it is a Network compatible theme...

That is not an answer, it is just a piece of code without instructions... Where should I paste it, replace it, insert it? Does it go into library.template.php or ???

Is it Soooo hard to have a new customized field (as the logo) where you can override the standard base-url?

@Maximo. No it is not soooo hard to add a feature, but in this case there is a filter. Wordpress filters are very powerful. The piece of code works and will do exactly as you need, you just place it in your child themes functions.php

Thanks. My point is: Since version 1 of both iBlogPro and PlatformPro, you're able to establish a custom logo and it is supposed to be Network compatible...what are the chances to need a customized url...75%. Anyhow. You can tie your left shoe lace with your right foot over the chair... Thanks Max

It worked. I just dropped it at the end of HOOK EXAMPLE and replaced the url. Nice. Thanks
