rachaelm 0 Report post Posted March 3, 2011 The Drop Down Navigation is not showing up when I mouse over the navigation bar even though I have it turned on in the settings. http://www.sassypants.com.php5-20.dfw1-2.websitetestlink.com/ I can see on the forums that there might be a conflict with Nextgen Gallery which I am using, but it is not clear how to resolve the issue. How can I resolve this? Thanks
bryan-hadaway 3 Report post Posted March 3, 2011 How did you setup pages, with parents in Pages? Or did you create custom menus in: Appearance > Menus? Thanks, Bryan
makeylon 0 Report post Posted March 3, 2011 This may sound like a silly question, but did you enable drop down menus in Platform settings - Header and Nav section?
jmac21246 1 Report post Posted March 3, 2011 I'm having this same problem. I have not published my child pages yet because they do not appear as a drop-down menu--only as sub-nav. I don't believe I created custom menus, if this is the fix?
Andrew 207 Report post Posted March 3, 2011 Drop downs work like this: 1. use WP custom menus to create the hierarchy in your menus. 2. activate the drop down options Looking at your code with Firebug, I don't see any hierarchy or sub pages, that are hidden. rachaelm 0 Report post Posted March 4, 2011 Yes, I did turn on Drop Down menus Yes, I did use custom menus and the hierarchy on the site was from the pages choosing a parent page and not in the custom menus. I will try adding the hierarchy to the custom menus
