lmmolitor 0 Report post Posted March 2, 2011 I'm trying to figure out the best way to add a title over my soapbox area. For example, on this page http://www.greenbankdevelopment.com/?page_id=137 I'd like the title "Available Floorplans" to sit directly over the Soapboxes. I've tried adding it to the main content area, but it doesn't look like because there is such a large gap of white space between the two areas. Any better ideas? cmunns 16 Report post Posted March 2, 2011 You could use a hook...or add it back to the page content area and adjust the css margin/padding for that page. which sounds easier?
lmmolitor 0 Report post Posted March 2, 2011 LOL ... for me, neither sounds easier I guess, since i have no clue what a hook is, the css margin/padding adjustment would be best, but although I know firebug is a great tool, as a novice, it's all greek to me so figuring out what to put in the css is still a struggle for me as well. Since I would like to decrease the top padding for all soapboxes used throughout my site, is there one css option i can use to change top padding for all soapboxes? ... I'll play around and see what I can figure out ...
bryan-hadaway 3 Report post Posted March 3, 2011 You said you were starting to learn Firebug, stick with it. Have you learned how to hover over areas with Firebug? You could hover over the soapboxes and dig around for padding adjustments. If you're interested in learning about hooks see: http://www.pagelines.com/docs/base-child-theme Thanks, Bryan
