Can you configure Platform Pro without activating the theme?

I want to be able to configure a live site with Platform pro, but do not want the changes to be viewed on the live site yet. Is there a way to do this? I saw a trick on editing a live site, but I want to replace my current non-platform pro site to it.

Mike, You have 2 other options: - You can try this plugin: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/theme-test-drive/ (although I advise you to test it offsite first) - Or, what's probably the best option: install PlatformPro on a subdomain, configure to your liking, export settings and import them in your site.
