Hey Mark - The process should be pretty much the same. Is there a particular part you're having difficulty with?

Just making my new theme's homepage look like the theme demos is my goal. The creating a new feature from the feature setup module unfortunately is not an intuitive process for me, and based on some of the other comments, it seems other people are confused as well. What would be of help would be a numbered, step by step guide as to how to create a home page with multiple feature slides.

Hey Mark, WHP is the older generation theme and thus the process is slightly different. All features are created under WHP Settings - Feature Setup. The four default slides should already be propagated as examples, but to set a feature page as the home page as in the demo you need to create two pages, one for the home page using the feature page template and one for the blog as the default template. Then go to WP Settings - Reading and set the static home page there.
