Secondary Nav on all pages

Unless I'm missing something, it would appear that I have to set the secondary nav option for each applicable page. While I can appreciate the flexibility in that, is there any way to set this such that the secondary nav appears by default? Maybe a patch fix

It should show on every page by default if you dragged into the header section. Double check that you don't have it "hid by default" in the template setup

No it was not checked. I noticed that option, which is the reason i felt the secondary nav should probably propagate by default...but it's not.
