Comments not working on pages - whitehouse pro

Hi , I seen one or two other threads on this - but they all got resolved without fixing my problem. When I create a new page with whitehouse pro I see and check the two options: Allow comments Allow trackbacks and pingbacks on this page. Even though I check them I can not turn on comments for pages. Posts is no problem. Is there a setting somewhere that Im missing? Regards, Brian

Did you check the theme options themselves?
