toddimous 0 Report post Posted March 1, 2011 In the Docs you recommend the "Post Type Order" plugin to order images in the feature slider. It works great for that as advertised. However I've found a bug that is puzzling me. When the plugin is active, the "News" page of my site displays an incorrect feature image ... even though it is assigned a specific/unique feature set. Home page feature slides through the images/text in the correct order ... News image should be same as 4th slide "Keeping Perspective" (big blue sky image). Instead it is showing the "Welcome" (Half Dome image). Any ideas? Thanks for your assistance. The theme is great! http://www.myocept.com/dev
Kate 3 Report post Posted March 1, 2011 Hey Todd - On the individual "News" edit screen, did you select the "Keeping Perspective" image? There's a section below the main content box where it can be assigned...
toddimous 0 Report post Posted March 1, 2011 Hi Kate - Yes I did. And with Post-Type-Order turned off it displays correctly. Once I turn the plugin on it doesn't make a difference what I assign to the page. It displays the 1st slide. I suspect that this may have something to do with assigning Home as a static landing page and the post page to News? ... but I don't really know what to do with that information. cmunns 16 Report post Posted March 1, 2011 Have you tried contacting the plugin provider. I imagine he could add an option in the next update to exclude the main posts
toddimous 0 Report post Posted March 2, 2011 Hi Adam, I've been waiting on a reply from the provider that just came in. Turns out I needed to turn off the autosorting option on the admin/settings page. This allows the custom queries built into PlatformPro to do their thing. ... thank you for your input!
