adding an image on the top of a blog page

I was trying to add an image across the top of a blog page and could not figure out how to do that. I have already used all my sidebars and don't know of a way to use them again without the same content showing. Also I tried to add a banner but you can't add a banner to a blog page. http://www.lead222.com/2011/ is the link i want to create a banner ad above the carousel.

http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/widget-logic/ ...is a great plugin for sidebar/widget handling from page to page.
