cas45+ 0 Report post Posted February 28, 2011 I am quite familiar with the PlatformPro theme options and I am looking forward to using some of the new 1.3 features. I understand that with the "Layout Editor" you set up the global width of your site and its's sidebars. Here is my challenge. I would like one section of my site to have a different with. I intend to manage this section from within Wordpress but serve it up on another site in an iframe. This is why I need a different width. I can add navigation specific to this area by using sections it is the overall width I need to change. Any suggestions
Guest Guest Report post Posted March 1, 2011 What section are you looking to have a specific width, and on which page are you thinking of doing this? Is the site up yet, can we get a link for reference?
cas45+ 0 Report post Posted March 1, 2011 @Tyler, Not yet I am in the planning stage. I am looking at building a mini site within a site so it would have its own navigation, footer and probably its own branding so when you click on the brand it takes you to "home" for the site within a site. Like I said this would be served up in an iframe on another site. It just would be much easier for a client to administer as a single Wordpress install. cmunns 16 Report post Posted March 1, 2011 Initially I think you could just override the dynamic CSS width by writing your own for those particular pages that you want wider. It actually would be pretty simple especially if they shared a common body class.
