Shading edges (page-canvas)?

Recommended Posts

Hi! I'm trying to increase the overall depth of my site. Is it somehow possible to shade the edges of the page-canvas? Thanks!

Hi Joakim - Do you mean adding a dropshadow? If so, yes, that's possible. You would just use some custom CSS.

Rock n roll, thank you! Is it possible to make the edges slightly transparent as well?

in base.css add and then modify to your tastes #page-canvas { -webkit-box-shadow: 0 0 8px 1px rgba(0,0,0,.2); -moz-box-shadow: 0 0 8px 1px rgba(0,0,0,.2); box-shadow: 0 0 8px 1px rgba(0,0,0,.2); }

Is there any smooth solution for creating the same look in IE?

It's basically an oxy-moron. You'd have to use tranparent images since IE doesn't support box shadow yet
