studentkrubb 0 Report post Posted February 27, 2011 Hi! I'm trying to enable certain box categories to different single posts. Is there a css line for example adding a box category with id '38' to a single post page? Thanks!
catrina 103 Report post Posted February 27, 2011 That capability doesn't exist, but perhaps if you created a different box set (which has its own category) including specific boxes for specific single posts, that would work. studentkrubb 0 Report post Posted February 27, 2011 Thank you, but I'm not sure if I expressed myself clearly. My intention is for one box set (of 15 boxes) to be shown below all single posts. I tried the natural way with setting that specific set to be my default set for posts and 404; but then the issue is that the soap boxes are shown as well and when I hide these with {display:none} they don't get replaced by my wished for set to fill out my 15 boxes. kastelic 6 Report post Posted February 27, 2011 Did you take Soapboxes out of the Single Post Page Template in Template Setup?
studentkrubb 0 Report post Posted February 28, 2011 Yes, yet other box sets interfer amongst the 15 boxes. Even though I have set one default set which reaches 15 boxes itself.
Kate 3 Report post Posted February 28, 2011 When I hide these with {display:none} they don't get replaced by my wished for set to fill out my 15 boxes Hi Joakim - Are you saying the boxes don't appear at all? only the soapboxes? If they are appearing, are you then saying they disappear with "display:none"? And, if so, what are you setting to "display:none;"?
studentkrubb 0 Report post Posted February 28, 2011 Hi Kate! My issue is that I can't control which boxes are shown on my single post page. If I have a base limit of 15 boxes and a default category it still doesn't apply correctly with my single post page; because other boxes (from other categories) appear, taking spots of my default category. (I wrongly named interferring categories 'soapboxes' earlier in the thread. I meant other box categories/sets.) Any clues? Thanks! *confused*
studentkrubb 0 Report post Posted February 28, 2011 Forgot: I'm setting the box id's of interferring categories to display:none.
studentkrubb 0 Report post Posted February 28, 2011 Concretization: Box set shown here: http://nysida.studentkrubb.se/recept/ should also (alone) show here: http://nysida.studentkrubb.se/2011/01/mork-chokladmousse/ below the post.
cmunns 16 Report post Posted February 28, 2011 and if you change the global default it works? The single post pages should take meta-data normally...are you using PP 1.3 and WP 3.1?
studentkrubb 0 Report post Posted February 28, 2011 Yes oddly enough other categories don't get interferred when they are default. So I guess creating a new box set would be it. However I managed to solve it in another way, by using the post re-order type and setting default boxes at top. (Im using plattformbase 1.0.4, pro 1.2.3 and wp 3.1.) Thanks!
