Change Primary Nav padding and look

http://www.preparemd.com/conditions/alzheimers-coconut-oil-and-mct/ #1: Trying to change the look of primary nav. Keeps defaulting to original (padding:left:1.0em;). Also want to remove block. Ran W3 Validation and 35 problems - don't know where to start. THESE ARE THE CHANGES I MADE IN CSS CODE IN CHILD THEME: kgbXA.jpg .sf-menu a { display:normal; } #primary-nav ul.sf-menu a { padding-bottom:0.75em; padding-left:0.5em: important! padding-right:0.5em: important! padding-top:0.75em; text-decoration:none; } #2: How to change the PrepareMD at the top. Not a logo. Where is the code located to change this, remove this, or change font? #3: Does buying full developer package help w/ priority support? I've used other themes. My skill level is enough to run into many obstacles, and support is what I need most - is there a priority level? #4: What is best way to contract with one of the "pros" to help? Thanks and am amazed at your new theme. Mark

which part are you trying to add padding too? the whole ul or each li? Validation errors are likely related to the YouTube videos..don't worry about those. 1.3 is going to have a lot of new font options. I would stay tuned for that instead of messing with CSS. Did you see http://pagelines.com/pros?

Thank you cmunns .. YOU ASKED ME: "which part are you trying to add padding to? the whole ul or ea li?" My Answer: I don't know what ul or li is in this context. MY GOAL: to have the navigation bar ON ONE LINE, not spilling over into 2 lines. I thought if the text in ea nav box was closer to the left and right sides it would pack the NAV bar tighter, so it would fit on 1 line. RELATED: How do I move the SEARCH BOX UP, so there is more room for the NAV bar? If the SEARCH box was at the top, the NAV bar could extend across the entire page. Thank you, Mark

I think the first step to take is to move the search bar so that your first goal (making the navigation fit on one line) works out. Have you checked out this tutorial on working with hooks?: http://www.pagelines.com/docs/base-child-theme This can be useful in moving the search bar to where you want it.
