Changing the opacity of the carousel's background

Recommended Posts

Hi There! I want the background of my carousel to be see-through a bit. I tried this in my custom CSS: #carousel .content-pad { opacity:.5; } But it changes the opacity of both the background and the pictures in the carousel. I only want the background to have the see-through effect, not the pictures. Any ideas? Thanks!

opacity won't work for this... it's really only used rarely. Set a transparent .png image as the background using custom CSS.

Hmmm... How do I do that? I'm new to this. I tried changing the opacity because it worked for the footer of my feature slider. Thanks!
