Spacing between Feature, Header and Breadcrumbs

Recommended Posts

I have setup my website to show breadcrumbs navigations throughout the website. But i do not wish to show the breadcrumbs navigation on the frontpage. If i hide the breadcrumbs on the front page, the position of feature and the main content changes (moves up). breadcrumb.jpgNo_breadcrumb.jpg Notice the spacing between the feature set and header is smaller without the breadcrumb navigation. Any advice on how to make the position of the feature set and main page content absolute regardless of the breadcrumb navigation? I'm using the breadcrumb navxt plugin with platformbase. Thanks!

Are you sure there's no custom height set somewhere that was set to 400, maybe in your Custom CSS? If so, that could simply be removed to fix the problem. Otherwise add this to Custom Code > Custom CSS: ` #feature-area, .feature-wrap, #feature_slider .fmedia, #feature_slider .fcontent, #feature_slider .text-bottom .fmedia .dcol-pad, #feature_slider .text-bottom .feature-pad, #feature_slider .text-none .fmedia .dcol-pad { height: 330px; } ` Thanks, Bryan

I wanted the feature to have a custom height of 400px. There is nothing wrong with the height of the feature. Its the spacing between the navigation bar and the main page contents. My other pages (with breadcrumb visible) show that the main page content is lower than the frontpage (hidden breadcrumb). I want the frontpage's main page contents to be positioned similar to other pages (with breadcrumb visible). thanks!

I managed to solve this. I added the following custom css:

.page-id-19 #page-main, #footer {position: relative; top:28px; }
thanks guys!
