Need Help Adding An Image To My Header - Platform Pro

Recommended Posts

I modified the code in another user's solution found here: http://www.pagelines.com/forum/topic.php?id=4493 And put this code in functions.php (which displayed the image before I added the custom CSS):

// Add Image to header above branding icons
	add_action('pagelines_before_branding_icons','add_image_to_header');

	function add_image_to_header() {
	$image_url = "/visit.jpg";
	#replace the URL between the quotes with the URL to your image
	?>
	" border="0" alt="Visit Our Blog" id="visit" />
	<?php
	}

Again, I saw the image, although misplaced, before I added the custom CSS. Now the image does not appear. This is the custom CSS I added:
div.branding_wrap  img#visit {
	position: absolute;
	top: -133px;
	right: 16px;
	}

I use similar custom CSS for the positioning of my search bar:
#header .searchform {
	position:float;
	right:16px;
	top:-103px;
	}

I suspect that the image is simply sitting behind the header now and my need to be brought forward. I want this image to appear on top of the search bar. I'm tired of trying stuff, although I suspect the solution is a simple one. Gotta make a run; hoping someone who knows what they're doing can point me in the right direction by the time I get back. I feel a "D'oh!" coming on...lol :-P URL: http://www.onemagusa.com Thanks :-)

` div.branding_wrap img#visit { position: absolute; top: 58px; right: 12px; } ` Try that!

This fix no longer works since I upgraded to PlatformPro 1.3 :-( Anything I need to add or any special area of the functions.php file to add the code to make it work again? :-)
