loco12 0 Report post Posted February 23, 2011 Please be gentle I am a complete novice in this and have spent hours trying to work out the problem before heading here. I have made up a scrolling features panel and its on: http://www.wessex-weddings.com/blog It works perfectly in Chrome and Firefox but won't scroll through in IE. Completely beaten me. Any ideas why? I did a search and found something to do with bad HTML5 but I haven't written anything, Platform Pro has done it all. If I need to edit code I just don't have a clue so basic a reply as possible please!
bryan-hadaway 3 Report post Posted February 24, 2011 IE has a lot of problems, easily the worst major browser. That being said there are probably some markup issues. You can run your site through the validator to check for errors: http://validator.w3.org/ Thanks, Bryan
loco12 0 Report post Posted February 24, 2011 Sorry I don't understand. The feature doesn't work in IE. All that running through Validator shows is some tabs on some Vimeo clips in red which if removed would render the Vimeo clips out of action.Do you just leave validator in Default? How do you edit the source code of the blog? Has this got anything to do with the upgrade I made yesterday to Wordpress 3.1? Seems to all stem from that. Makes no sense for it not to work. I made a new feature and put that up. Still doesn't work in IE. HELP!!!!!!!!!!
