Absolute positioning with CSS. Are you using Firebug?

yes, i'm attempting to use Firebug, but it's a little bit too advanced for me ... what is absolute positioning and how do I accomplish that?

sorry, follow on question --- would you be applying the "absolute positioning" to both elements, the map and the blue background image?

You still have to center the map but this would work for making the blue image absolute: `.wp-image-935 {position:absolute;}`

hey andrew - thank you for the response, but i will say as a monthly paying customer, i'm a bit frustrated. one reason i signed up and agreed to pay a monthly fee was because "pro support" was marketed as being included as part of the service i was purchasing. as a beginner, i knew this would be important to me, therefore my decision to go with pagelines. are you telling me that that is not the case and there are limits to the questions that can be asked? if that's the case i suggest you make that clear in upfront.

Hi Liz, We will always be here to help you with PageLines specific issues and we often help with as a courtesy 3rd party issues like WordPress, plugins, CSS customizations and other 3rd party issues. And we try to assist with the learning curve and education to get you on track for your web design process and customization requests. This is above and beyond the scope of our product support and we do this because it makes us happy to make you happy. There is a limit of course. We'll always help or at least push you in the right direction for these 3rd party issues. But, we cannot do the work for you of course; that is why we have: http://www.pagelines.com/pros/ - for the kind of hands on help you may need if you don't have the time or interest to learn the web design process. The month to month that you're paying for is to have full access to all the plugins and all updates and major releases. Forum support is available to all customers. Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks, Bryan

Andrew, come on, I never asked anyone to do it for me Andrew, I simply asked how to do it. If you re-read everything above i use the word "I" nearly every time.
