CSS rules to move tags and related posts in single post page

Recommended Posts

Hello, I created a lot of custom CSS rules on my personal website. But I don't know how to change the position of tags and related posts in a single post page. This is what I get now: http://www.share.free.fr/now.jpg And this is what I would like to obtain (I made this with Photoshop): http://www.share.free.fr/goal.jpg Any help would be most appreciated.

Hi Jean-Philippe - You could accomplish this with some PHP as well, but. with CSS, it would look like this:

.related_posts{margin-top:15px;}
	.tags{margin-top:-250px;}

Now, keep in mind, that may not look quite right if you have a few lines of tags. ;)

Thank you very much for your answer Kate. I didn't think it was "so simple" with CSS. You're right actually: it seems that CSS rules are not the best way to do what I want. You said something about PHP. Is it easy to set for a wordpress/css begginner like me or not?

Are you using the content sidebar for the related posts? How are you adding those?

Hello Adam, Actually I was using YARPP plugin in default mode (related posts displayed automatically after each post). And, thanks to you, I've just understood I should better set a content sidebar in my website template and add in it the YARPP plugin using my php custom template file. I will set it this morning. After two months of work, my personal blog is almost finish now. I've learned a lot about Wordpress, plugins, CSS rules, social networks integration and so on. And Platform Pro theme was, I'm sure now, one of the best choices a beginner can do. Thank you again Pagelines team!
