Would platform pro or iblog pro be ok for ecommerce use?

Hi Im ok at running a basic wordpress site/blog but i m looking to have another site that will be used for ecommerce. So as i know nothing about ecommerce, are any or all of these themes ok to use for ecommerce? For instance, are there plugins to enable any of these themes to be made into an ecommerce site, or is it best to look for an ecommerce template? Im relatively comfortable with pagelines themes so just looking for adivce before i start thanks

Hi Garry - Our themes are compatible with e-commerce plugins. However, we don't have a particular theme designed for it. That being said, PlatformPro will give you more flexibility with customization, etc. Have you checked out test.pagelines.com?

Hi Kate No didnt think of that !! What about backgrounds? do these themes support background (wallpaper) images? ive read you ahve to purchase a plugin to make them work, is that right? thanks

I am not sure about the other but platform pro allows a background image to not only be easily uploaded but also includes horizontal and vertical placement selectors. Call me a fanboy if you like, but I love platform pro. cheers, Bev
