Featured Articles/Headlines AND Features not on Posts Page

Recommended Posts

I am using platform pro and want to have a few 'sticky' articles posted as featured articles at the top of the blog posts page. Is that possible to do and if so, how? Also, I do NOT want the features section shown on the posts page and even after selecting the right boxes to eliminate it from this page, they still appear. Here is the site: www.wolfhirschhorn.org. Thanks!

I followed the process as outlined in this video. In the Posts Page Template Section, the only box in that area is CONTENT AREA. I want to remove the Features and Boxes areas on this page: http://www.wolfhirschhorn.org/our-stories/. On the individual page section, the page attributes are set as the Default page. In the section Control area, Hide Pageline Features and Hide Pageline Boxes are checked (to be hidden). All of this is done correctly, I believe, but the sections still appear on the page. Any ideas?

`.blog #feature, .blog #boxes{display:none}` Add to Custom Code > Custom CSS is the surefire way to hide them on the blog page if the options aren't doing it for it and without having to dive into the code. To set stickies is simple. When editing a post, go to the "Publish" settings and make it a sticky. Thanks, Bryan

Bryan- that did it. Is there a list somewhere that identifies these custom codes (.blog, etc)? I would like to do this same thing to the post pages, tags and category pages as well, but don't know the codes. Thanks!

Well, I'm not seeming to catch on to CSS too well. I added the following to the custom CSS and it didn't seem to override. Trying to eliminate the features and boxes on single psots pages. .single #boxes{display:none} .single #feature{display:none}
