joolz40 0 Report post Posted February 14, 2011 Hi Id like to reduce the height of the footer which is becoming correspondingly bigger according to the number of menu items I create, ( these are replicated in the footer ). Id like to have a fixed width footer. Any help on how to do this would be appreciated. Regards Joolz
Guest Guest Report post Posted February 14, 2011 Are you wanting to keep the list of pages in the footer? If not, you can just create a custom footer using the footer columns section in the widget editor. If you DO want to keep the list of pages, you could try a plugin like Menubar to make the widget list the menu horizontally. http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/menubar/
joolz40 0 Report post Posted February 15, 2011 Hi Tyler Thanks for the response. I do not want the list of pages in the footer. I have tried to remove footer completely by removing the entire contents of the footer.php file. This works to remove the footer entirely but I would like to have a slimline footer with more traditional copyright info, etc. Im not sure how I would do a custom footer.
