I would like to Change the color and Border of the main post area

I am new to CSS, but want to highlight the post, with a subtle change of color, and provide a small border around each post,to contrast the post with the background... especially working in magazine mode, to give it more of a page like apearance. Saw a previous post changing the box color,.. #boxes .dcol-pad { background: none repeat scroll 0 0 #F7F7F7; } does anybody any idea how this would be changed for the page post area. .

You could use this selector instead of #boxes .dcol-pad... #column-wrap {} or if you want the sidebar included too then #pagelines_content {}
