Platformpro Design Control has no effect on site

Just installed the Platformpro theme and now trying to make adjustments to the theme. The layout editor worked perfect, but when i make changes to the design control (different background color, background image, etc.) Nothing changes on the website. I did press save several times and reactivated the theme a couple times. How do i fix this?

Thank you Bryan! I tried this before but it didn't work. This time however i also ctrl+F5'd the page and it changed. Might have been a prob with the cookies also.
