saritastevens 0 Report post Posted February 8, 2011 I am just getting used to Pagelines - so bear with me. It seems as if having an optional content header area where the SM icons are would be a smart move. Can someone help me achieve this. I'd prefer a widget - but if that is difficult, maybe some hook. Site I'm pulling together is www.college.themarketingcrew.com
Andrew 207 Report post Posted February 9, 2011 Sure, have you looked around for plugins and shortcodes to help you with this?
saritastevens 0 Report post Posted June 14, 2011 Hi Andrew, I'm coming back to this issue - as no luck. I'm trying to create a new section - a widgetized area to be located in the header. Can you help? Sarita
timlinson 3 Report post Posted June 14, 2011 I'm trying to create a new section - a widgetized area to be located in the header. What process have you gone through so far? This page has some custom section info. I'd start there and post any specific issues you run into. http://www.pagelines.com/docs/custom-sections
saritastevens 0 Report post Posted June 21, 2011 Adding this: #branding {width:400px; float:left;} #branding.clear {clear:left;} #branding.content {width:400px;} into the custom code section allowed me to place the universal sidebar into the header section as needed by the site design. It's a workaround. Is there is a better way to accomplish this?
timlinson 3 Report post Posted June 22, 2011 If that accomplishes what you want, I'd just stick with it.
