reduce space between banner image and text?

In beginners language please.. I need to put the banner text closer to the banner image. How?

Hokay. Figured out how to get it closer together, but it won't let me have the categories (blog) on the right side when there is a banner section- it pushes the categories etc down. is there a way around that?

Hi Jane, Are you using Firebug? Also, have you seen the tutorials on this in the docs? http://www.pagelines.com/docs/changing-colors-fonts

Yes, I have it.. but I'm a real live beginner. Seriously afraid I'm going to break things. I've figured out the padding, but I don't know how to stop the banner text from extending over to the right sidebar area which leads it to push the widgets down. thnx
