Using Affiliate Banners

As a member of vCommission, Commission Junction and other CPA groups, I want to monetarise my new Platform Pro site. So I'm wondering what is the best Platform container to deliver the Ads. I'm already using Banners, Boxes, Soapboxes, Callouts and Features advertising my own stuff. Here is an example of the dilemma. The Banner size I'm using at the moment for my own products is huge. So I cannot use it for a standard 125x125 banner, nor a 468x60 full banner, half banner, skyscraper banner, button, microbar - in fact any of the industry standard banner link sizes. I realise now that this is probably a property of the banner-set class, so it's not going to be possible to have different banner sizes by banner-set in the current or any advertised future version. I cannot use WP125 because this is geared towards your own ads, not external ads served from a massive CPA network. Can anyone recommend a compatible plugin for Affiliate Marketing, or a Platform work-around? Just being able to have a plug-in that allowed a widget to be added to one of the sidebars, which lets you paste in the linking Java Code or HTML might suffice.

Using a standard text widget in the sidebar, you can add HTML in the text widget directly.

Don't the networks you use provide their own widgets? you could just plug them in as plugins and use them w/ sidebars.

Thanks Mark. That at least the text/HTML widget gets an ad displayed. A rotation would be better that way you don't use up too much vertical sidebar. So, if anyone come across one, please share with the forum.:-) Andrew - no, just HTML or JavaScript.
