pdonaghy 0 Report post Posted February 8, 2011 Hi, This info might already be out there - I've tried a few of the solutions mentioned for other templates, but I can't seem to get a background image to display on the site. I've added CSS into the custom code section and into the style sheet, but nothing is working. Any ideas? Philip.
pdonaghy 0 Report post Posted February 8, 2011 Just one other thing - when I try the background css code within the body tag - it sets the background of the footer, not the main body of the site? P.
Kate 3 Report post Posted February 8, 2011 Hi Philip - You may need to target the #page div, or another div. Do you have a link to your site, please?
pdonaghy 0 Report post Posted February 8, 2011 Hi, Just running a test site at the mo. Do you have a suggestion for some code? Test site here....http://78.153.211.36/wordpress/ P.
cesarabueg 0 Report post Posted February 8, 2011 You can do this by going to "Design Control" scroll down a little and see the option "Site Background Image (Optional)". You will need to upload your image first, attach the URL in the box and then options below will position it, if you need repeating or not. Hope that helps. pdonaghy 0 Report post Posted February 9, 2011 Thank you - that worked great. Seemed to increase the size of the fonts with respect to the menu when I installed the new version - but that's no problem. Thanks again! P.
Andrew 207 Report post Posted February 9, 2011 Yes, there is an option for it in v1.2 and newer.
