makeylon 0 Report post Posted February 9, 2011 I've tried clearing the cache, eliminating the cache, bringing it up on multiple browsers, etc. I agree, a theme update shouldn't affect it. All I know for sure is that it was working, then I updated, then it wasn't working, and I had not changed anything at all between when it was working and when it wasn't working. I'm honestly at a complete loss to explain why it is no longer working. Currently, it is pulling the last (most recent) post, rather than pulling a random post. The way it was working is that every page refresh, it would randomize a post from the category. Basically, every time somebody comes to the home page, they see new content. makeylon 0 Report post Posted February 21, 2011 Okay, so I still have no idea why it broke, however, I did figure out how to get it to work... sort of. I tried disabling the post types order plugin, and the randomization of the post draw started working again. Unfortunately, this means I can either have a random post draw, or put other posts in the site in order, but not both. Like I said before, the strange thing is, it worked fine until I upgraded, and then stopped working. But, at least I figured out how to get the random post draw working again, even if it makes something else stop working properly. Ugh. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
