Eliminating 'Categories', 'Calendar', 'Articles' from web page

In PlatformPro, no matter how I set up the templates or the layouts, I don't seem to be able to get rid of Categories, Calendar and Articles from showing on the left of the page. Can you tell me how to do this please?

Those are the default widgets, if you don't want them then got the the widgets page under Appearance in the admin and replace them. You could also go to Template Setup in the Platform setting and then remove the primary sidebar from the sidebar layout. Secondly you could change the layout to full-width without sidebars.
