johnlatham 1 Report post Posted February 2, 2011 What is the best way to have a blog page but so the blog posts only appear on that particular page and not on the home page. I am using platform pro. Thanks.
bevj 0 Report post Posted February 2, 2011 John, you can try this 1. Create a new page - call it blog, then publish. 2. Create a new page - call it home, then publish. 3. On the left, go to wordpress settings>reading. 4. select a static page and select home for front page, this is where your url will point to 5. select blog for posts page, this is where your posts will be published to. Hopefully this helps, Bev

johnlatham 1 Report post Posted February 2, 2011 PS. What is the difference between this method and just hiding the main loop on every other page apart from the blog page?
bryan-hadaway 3 Report post Posted February 3, 2011 @Liz - Go to Settings > Reading and set the homepage you created as the static front page. Thanks, Bryan
