hypman 9 Report post Posted February 1, 2011 Hi Im not sure what code to use for the map icon. Surely its not the big amount of code i use on a posts page which shows up my map? I cant see on Google maps what other shorter codes there are? thanks

bryan-hadaway 3 Report post Posted February 2, 2011 When you're looking at Google Maps, look top right for the "Link" tab, copy/paste that URL. Thanks, Bryan
hypman 9 Report post Posted February 2, 2011 Hi Bryan Ive tried that already but it keeps returning a 404 error This is the code, which surely is too big to fit in themap icon URL?: <iframe width="425" height="350" frameborder="0" scrolling="no" marginheight="0" marginwidth="0" src="http://maps.google.co.uk/maps/ms?gl=uk&continue=%2Fmaps%2Fplace%3Fcid%3D8341807558278483730%26gl%3Duk&mode=edit&ie=UTF8&hl=en&view=map&t=h&msa=0&msid=207081053233283244001.000493310b4341a3a6f1b&ll=53.064687,-1.395907&spn=0.009026,0.018239&z=15&output=embed"></iframe><small>View Ripley Hypnotherapy in a larger map</small>
cmunns 16 Report post Posted February 2, 2011 That option takes a link not an iframe. You would want to link it to your contact page or to your Google Places page OR more appropriately just search for yourself with Google Maps and use the URL that ends up gettings displayed in the browser window.
