How do I add in content info?

How do I add advertisements or a sign up to my newsletter underneath my main content in single pages? http://www.spain-in-iowa.com/2011/01/steamed-cod-with-cabbage-in-a-spanish-tomato-sauce-and-fried-potatoes/ I guess I just don't know how to get into the code to add it in. When I look at single.php in platform pro, it's using dynamic information. Should I be going in somewhere else? Or is there an easier way to do this. It would be cool if there was a way to implement boxes in the template to add advertisements or things of this sort. Any help would be great Diana

Hi Diana - Have you tried using "Settings->Template Setup" for the single pages?

Yes, but I'm not sure how to add my own custom pieces. Like an ad or a signup box.

Hi Diana, I highly recommend looking into plugins for your needs, this would be the best avenue. Then you can use widgets or shortcodes on pages/posts and and there will be no reason to mess with the code.
