Jean-Philippe 2 Report post Posted February 1, 2011 Hello Pagelines Team ! I'm looking for how to insert the following Addthis code in my template files (I use Plaform Base and I don't want to use the Addthis plugin): ` ` --- I would like these two share buttons to appear on the homepage and single post pages too. At the bottom of each post. My website : www.kankei.fr I just want to let you know too that I was a completely Wordpress beginner when I bought Platform Pro. It's been 2 months now since I started working on Wordpress and learning CSS rules and I really love that. Thank you for this fantastic WP theme! www.photoreview.fr | www.kankei.fr

Jean-Philippe 2 Report post Posted February 1, 2011 Thank you for your answer Bryan. I would like to use this plugin - for sure it's the easiest way. But I wasn't able to customize it like I want to (ie code above) and that's why I wanted to insert this code. How can I customize this plugin then? www.photoreview.fr | www.kankei.fr
Kate 3 Report post Posted February 1, 2011 Hi Jean-Philippe - I haven't used this plugin in a while... so there's no option in the admin to have the share, etc. appear before the post? We could move it with CSS. If you want that option, give us a shout once you install it and we can go from there... Otherwise we'll do it with PHP. (Hint: If you choose PHP, we're going to have you copy template.postloop.php into your base theme, and modify that.)
Jean-Philippe 2 Report post Posted February 2, 2011 Thank you for your answer Kate. Actually, this is what I get with Addthis plugin installed : http://www.kankei.fr/addthis_plugin_default_code.jpg An this is exactly what I would like to get with the code I wrote in my first message : http://www.kankei.fr/customized_addthis_code.jpg www.photoreview.fr | www.kankei.fr
Jean-Philippe 2 Report post Posted February 2, 2011 I've just noticed Addthis has released today (02/02/2011) a new version (v.2.0.0) of their great plugin! Now it's easier to customize it ;-) www.photoreview.fr | www.kankei.fr
