Menu item: Pages have (active) color, Posts Pages do not

Recommended Posts

On my blog, The Healthified Mom, when I click on my navigation menu items, not all of them have an "active" color to them (active meaning the page you're currently on). All "page" menu items have color. All "posts page" menu items do not. Anyone know why?

The "posts page" menu items don't have an "active" color on them because they're being styled using a CSS class that differs from the one used for the "page" menu items. Try adding this code to the base.css file:

#menu-item-12 li, #menu-item-75 li, #menu-item-15 li, #menu-item-13 li {background-color: #BACKGROUNDCOLORFORACTIVELINK;}

Ah, try this one instead:

#menu-item-12 li a:link, #menu-item-75 li a:link, #menu-item-15 li a:link, #menu-item-13 li a:link {background-color: #BACKGROUNDCOLORFORACTIVELINK;}

Maybe best way is to actually change the menu item classes for those items that don't have the active color and create the CSS for them.
